Honorary Members

dr-clark Dr, Nathaniel Clark is a full-time faculty member at the Springfield College in the School of Human Services Milwaukee Campus. He has earned a B.S. in Sociology from Air Force Academy, Masters in Public Admin from Troy State and a PhD from U.W.M. in Urban Studies. Beginning as a U.S. Air Force technical-training instructor, he has taught courses in communications & intelligence; business (staffing & supervision, management & administration); the social sciences (sociology, psychology, social-psychology, cultural anthropology); and human services (research, graduate project, political economy, management & leadership, fine arts). Following military retirement, a stint as an Executive Director in the public health sector, and a tenure as the Principal/Administrator of an alternative high school for girls, he came to SC/SHS in 2001. His areas of academic interest include critical thinking, empiricism and the sociology of learning. He is especially interested in divergent views regarding the interplay of human emotion and cognition, and how these impact any contemporary quest for progressive socio-cultural behavior
Jason Newton is a prominent figure in the television news broadcast industry. He currently works as anchor and reporter for WISN Channel 12 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mr. Newton is a former anchor and reporter for WBOC TV in Salisbury, Maryland and a producer/writer for WJZ TV in Baltimore, Maryland. He is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. Mr. Newton attended the University of Maryland College Park and is also a member of various organizations such as Society of Professional Journalists, Phillip Merrill College of Journalism, and the Milwaukee Area Media Network.
LeonYoung Leon Young has been a State Assembly Maker in Wisconsin since 1992. He currently serves in the 16th District of the State Assembly. Mr. Young is a native of Los Angeles, California and is former police officer and aide. He is active in working with different caucuses and non legislative committees such as The Task Force on African American Males, Social Development Commission and Task Force on Preventing Home Foreclosures. Mr. Young attended the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and is also a member of various organizations ranging from Urban Emphasis Committee, Boy Scouts of America, Urban League, and The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.
